Greetings in Jesus' Name,
In 1959 God led my family and I into His precious truths. One Sunday morning when my wife, our son and I were driving down the street in National City looking for a church to attend, God directed my eyes to a small church building. We drove into the parking lot, went into the service and heard for the first time this glorious Apostolic gospel. Later, we repented of our sins, were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and we received the Holy Ghost just like the Apostles did on the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts. Since we have come into the church and have been serving the Lord, we have seen many wonderful things take place in the lives of people: alcoholics and the drug addicted delivered and set free; mentally sick minds, persons with cancer and other sick in body healed; marriages and broken homes mended. The lives of many, many people have been completely changed, turned in reverse of what they were before they repented of their sins and became obedient to the word of God. We cannot ever thank the Lord or praise Him enough for the many blessings He has brought about in our lives. Three years ago my wife was told by her doctor, after examinations and running tests on two occasions, that she had cancer and that she needed to be operated on at once She was to enter the hospital on Sunday afternoon and be operated on that following Wednesday. Sunday morning after our service I had her prayed for and God completely healed her. When they ran tests on her on Monday at the hospital to see to what extent they would have to operate, they found that she no longer was in need of an operation and that there were no signs whatsoever of cancer. God has moved in our lives often and we're so thankful.
For about ten years God dealt with me about starting a church in Pacific Beach. During this time I felt that one day God would send a minister from our local church and that my wife and I could go help in this new work. I had not at that time been called to preach. But time went by and nothing ever happened. Then finally one morning while reading my Bible and studying, God dealt with me about the ministry and called me to preach. What a glorious day that was. My wife and I have spent several years in the National City Church and have spent the last two years in the Chula Vista Church. We now, with the leading of the Lord, felt it was time to come to Pacific Beach to begin the church that God had laid on my heart years ago.
I invite you and your family to call if you are in need of prayer. We are prayerfully concerned about you and your problems, and offer ministerial counsel as well as prayer for the sick. If you and your family would like to better understand your Bible, we also offer in-the-home Bible Studies. Our greatest desire is not to have the largest number in attendance or a beautiful church building, but rather to reach the lost; to reach those who have not heard, who have not experienced, and to lead them to receive Jesus Christ. Let us help you to come to know the peace and joy that comes with giving your life over to God. Then you can if you wish, bind yourself together with us to build and do a work for the Lord that will last for all eternity.

WE BELIEVE IN RECEIViNG THE HOLY GHOST because —
In the Bible we read, "For the promise is unto you . . . and to all that are afar off, even as
many as the Lord our God shall call." The evidence of this experience is speaking in
heavenly or other tongues. Acts 2:4, 2:39, 10:46,19:6.
